Sarah Lambe

Assistant Psychologist
Hi, I’m Sarah. I am currently training as a Clinical Psychologist and have over 12 years’ experience working across NHS mental health services, hospitals, schools, community outreach and the criminal justice system. I am passionate about supporting people experiencing complex emotional and relational difficulties, including supporting individuals and those around them to understanding how life experiences shape psychological distress.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by your emotions, finding relationships difficult, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you’re not alone. Together, we can explore what has happened in your life to shape who you are, including the difficulties you face, build on your strengths, and find practical ways to help you feel more connected and confident. My hope is that you will feel accepted, heard and understood from our very first meeting.
I take a systemic approach to therapy, recognising that our wellbeing is shaped by relationships, experiences and environment. My background has given me experience supporting people with complex emotional needs, self-harm, relationship difficulties and risk.
Alongside this, I bring both professional and personal insight into the experiences of care-experienced and adopted children and families. I take an integrative approach to tailor evidence-based therapy to each individual.
