Hello, I’m Kieran Lynn, and mental health has been the focus of my whole professional journey, from completing my degree through to my current practice. I’ve had the opportunity to work both within private organisations and the NHS, which has given me a broad perspective on different ways to support people.
I’m dual qualified as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a Counsellor, and my approach draws on psychodynamic, integrative, and person-centred principles. I’m passionate about the power of neuroplasticity and how changing thought and behaviour patterns can transform emotional wellbeing over time.
I particularly enjoy working with anxiety-related conditions, including OCD, panic disorder, PTSD, and social anxiety. I also have experience supporting clients with low mood and dysthymia, low self-esteem, grief, and difficulties in interpersonal relationships. Additionally, I work with less commonly addressed issues such as tinnitus, functional neurological disorder, and chronic pain. For me, understanding the connection between physical symptoms and psychological distress is key, and I focus on the role of attention in managing somatic experiences.
Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, creating a safe space for reflection, growth, and practical change. Whether you want tools to manage symptoms or deeper exploration of your experiences, I’m here to support you every step of the way. I primarily offer online therapy, which makes it easier for clients to access support from anywhere. Many find that scheduling a session online fits more smoothly into their day, without the extra time and stress of travel. However, I also have limited availability for those who prefer face-to-face sessions
