My work is rooted in a deep belief that every child and parent deserves to feel safe, understood, and supported. Over the past 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with children, young people, and families across both NHS and private settings, as well as alongside foster carers and children in care. These experiences have shaped my understanding of how complex, layered, and meaningful a young person’s story can be.
I am drawn to this work because I have seen how transformative it can be when a child or parent begins to feel more confident, connected, and equipped with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges. I approach therapy with warmth, curiosity, and respect—always aiming to create a space where people feel they can show up exactly as they are.
I use a blend of evidence based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR); both of which I am qualified in, and I tailor my work to the unique needs of each child, young person, or parent. I support families experiencing anxiety, low mood, OCD, phobias, trauma, and the emotional impact of neurodivergence such as ADHD or autism spectrum conditions. I also offer parenting support and 1:1 therapeutic parenting sessions, helping parents understand their child’s emotional world and feel more confident in supporting them.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in Punjabi and English, I value the richness that different cultures, identities, and belief systems bring to therapy. I understand that mental health can be viewed differently across communities, and I aim to create a therapeutic environment that honours each person’s values and lived experience.
“Wellbeing isn’t about having everything figured out—it’s about having the tools, compassion, and support to take care of ourselves along the way.”
My hope is that therapy feels like a place where you and your child can breathe a little easier, feel truly heard, and begin to move forward with clarity and confidence.
