I’m a Clinical Psychologist offering a flexible approach tailored to everyone I work with, whether that’s individuals, couples, friends, families, or teams. I’m passionate about the work I do and feel privileged to be described by others as warm, down to earth, compassionate, and easy to work with. I’m open and transparent in my approach, and I always work at my clients’ pace, bringing over 20 years’ experience in mental health services to help reduce distress and support people and organisations to reach their personalised goals.
I have extensive specialist experience supporting people with a wide range of life difficulties and mental health diagnoses, gained across both NHS and private healthcare settings. My background includes work in adult, child and adolescent inpatient services, community CAMHS, specialist services for children in care, Early Intervention in Psychosis teams, offender mental health projects, and rehabilitation services.
I draw on several evidence-based models and make sure clients are kept informed every step of the way about what might be helpful and how we can work together. I’m committed to being alongside everyone I support, offering a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space. My aim is always to understand the challenges you’re facing and to tailor my input to fit your individual needs.
Alongside therapeutic work with individuals, families, couples, and carers, I also offer assessments, group interventions, and work with teams to build psychological knowledge and enhance understanding to improve quality of care. I provide psychoeducation, consultation, supervision, and reflective practice for individuals and teams, as well as creating bespoke training plans. These include topics such as compassionate leadership and cognitive behavioural approaches, among others.
