Sayra Rehman

Counsellor & Assistant Psychologist

I’m a BACP-registered counsellor and Assistant Psychologist with a background in counselling and psychology, and experience supporting adults and young people across private practice, schools, and wellbeing services. I work in a warm, collaborative way, adapting sessions to suit you using person-centred and cognitive behavioural approaches. My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and gently supported to move forward at your own pace.

You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn, perhaps carrying worries that feel heavy or hard to put into words. You may be navigating anxiety, low mood, trauma, relationship difficulties, or the challenges of being neurodivergent in a world that doesn’t always feel accommodating. I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly and be met with understanding rather than judgement. Together, we can gently explore what’s going on for you, build on your strengths, and work toward.

What makes my approach unique is the way I adapt therapy to fit you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular model. I work in a flexible, integrative way, combining warmth, curiosity, and practical tools while always moving at a pace that feels safe. I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients and those who have experienced trauma, which means I’m mindful of how therapy can feel and adjust sessions to suit your needs. Above all, I value building a genuine, trusting relationship where.
