I have over 12 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and families through the challenges of developmental trauma, adoption, and complex emotional needs. My background spans adoption services, CAMHS, and statutory safeguarding work. Over time I have found myself increasingly drawn toward therapeutic practice, which is where my passion and focus lie.
My approach is grounded in attachment theory, developmental psychology, and trauma-informed practice. I draw on a range of therapeutic models including Theraplay, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Building Underdeveloped Sensorimotor Systems (BUSS), and elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches help me support parents and children to strengthen connection, build trust, and make sense of their experiences in a compassionate, playful way.
I’m known for being warm, playful, and thoughtful, with a calm presence that helps families feel safe and understood.
I believe deeply in the importance of relational safety, creating a non-judgemental space where children and parents can explore challenges, celebrate progress, and approach difficult emotions with support.
Whether I’m offering direct therapeutic work, supporting adoptive families, or collaborating within multidisciplinary teams, my aim is always to meet people with empathy, respect, and a genuine commitment to their wellbeing.
