Beth Hermitage
Practice Management Assistant & Psychology StudentHi, I’m Beth! I am pleased to be on placement with Serendipity Psychology while studying for my undergraduate degree in Psychology. It’s an incredible opportunity to deepen my understanding of the field and gain some hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Alongside my studies, I am a qualified football coach which gives me a unique perspective on motivation, performance and mental resilience – particularly in young people. This is where I can combine psychological theory with my coaching style to develop incredibly driven and talented athletes.
I’m particularly interested in Developmental Psychology looking at how we learn, grow and develop over time and what factors shape this. Also, understanding how atypical development causes our developmental path to change.
I am excited to see where psychology takes me!
