Our fees vary depending on the professional background, training and expertise of the practitioner you see. These have been set competitively based on the fees of other independent organisations in different areas.
For many people, the cost of sessions is important. If the cost or the profession of a practitioner is important to you, please let us know this when you make contact with us. An indication of our current fee structure is:
We pride ourselves on the excellent quality, speed and rigour of our specialist assessments. Unlike most other providers, we work extremely hard to ensure our assessments are compliant with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) Guidance and utilise gold-standard assessment tools. We ensure the initial assessment meeting is commenced quickly without extensive waiting times, that you are offered a feedback meeting after you have received your report and that every report is conducted by more than one specialist; we do not work in silo.
All our neurodivergence assessments and extended specialist assessments are reviewed within our multidisciplinary team meeting by a team of specialists from our neurodivergence pathway. Every assessment we complete is carefully reviewed by at least one other mental health specialist in our team to ensure there are two sets of highly qualified eyes considering the quality of the work produced and two minds contributing towards the recommendations provided. Their quality means they can be utilised for other referral paths and meet the requirements of NHS services and educational institutions. We also offer a feedback meeting following the release of our neurodivergence, extended specialist assessment and cognitive assessment reports so recommendations can be discussed and a plan of support implemented.
The cost of our assessments reflects the hours we require our specialists to invest in the assessments they complete.
Please note that there are additional charges for:
Please contact us for further information about any of these specialist assessments as we would be glad to help.
Therapy sessions are usually 50 minutes long and are planned with you to ensure they suit your needs. Couples and family sessions are longer and typically range between 60 and 90 minutes.
Sessions are available during the daytime between 9am and 5pm. There are also some evening, weekend and early morning appointments available with some of our team.
Confidentiality is uppermost and central to our working practice; everything you share with us will remain confidential according to our professional Codes of Conduct. This means that unless there are significant concerns about your safety or the safety of others, your information will only be shared in confidential, clinical supervision in which you remain anonymous.
The length of a course of therapy: This can be adapted to meet short and longer-term goals, depending on your needs. This will be reviewed with you regularly, at least six weekly.
The regularity of therapy: Regularity can vary depending upon the type of therapy you choose to engage in, but it is usually held weekly or fortnightly. This can be discussed with you at your initial consultation.
Sessions are usually held at one of our comfortable consulting rooms across the Midlands Region. In exceptional circumstances arrangements can also be made for a therapist to visit you at home (at an additional fee for travel time). We offer sessions virtually for those wishing to access it online, or those who want to combine face-to-face and online sessions.
If you have any questions that aren’t covered on this page, just get in touch with us via email or phone, or book a free brief consultation with our practice management team who will be able to assess your needs and suggest the most appropriate person to work with. They will also be able to arrange an initial consultation session with a therapist and you can consider if they are the person you would like to work with. If they aren’t, we welcome you to come back to us so we can confidentially consider who else might be the right fit for you. It’s our job to help you find the right person to make a difference and we don’t like to give up until we make a positive difference in your life!
Many of our team are registered with the core health insurance providers and are willing to register with providers as required by clients. In most instances, healthcare insurers will also allow you to claim back our fees if you have found the right person to work with. We would recommend checking with your health insurance provider to find out if psychological therapy is included within your plan, and the parameters of this. Some of the providers we’re registered with include; Bupa, AXA, Aviva, WPA.
