Lucy Routledge is an experienced Assistant Psychologist who has worked in a number of healthcare settings within the NHS and independent providers including St Andrew’s Healthcare. Since completing her Psychology degree in 2016, Lucy has gained substantial experience of working with individuals across the lifespan with a broad spectrum of mental health presentations, neurological conditions, and developmental trauma.
Lucy currently works in the Looked-After Children’s Mental Health Team for Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust where she facilitates attachment-informed groups for foster carers and professionals as well as offering emotion regulation work for young people on an individual basis. Within this role Lucy also completes a number of assessments including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2), Weschler Intelligence Scale for Children (WISC-V) and the Coventry Grid. She also conducts full clinical interviews and associated supporting assessment methods such as school observation.
Lucy also volunteers as an Independent Visitor for Northants County Council where she spends time with a young person who lives in a foster care placement and facilitates activities and trips in order to enhance their mood and well-being while supporting them to build positive relationships with others.
